Directors Jonas Arnby, Hans Moland, and Johan Skog were previously repped by The Joneses, where Gragido served as EP. Arni Thor Jonsson, Ken Lambert, and Terry Rietta also join the fold. The new talent joins Brian Baderman, Trevor Cornish, David Jellison, Alex Ogus, Suthon Petchsuwan and Selby on the TWC Films roster. The company is presided over by Partner/Managing Director/EP Mark Thomas, Partner/Producer Ralph Winter, Partner/Director Phil Cooke, and Executive Producer Jeff Snyder.

"2007 was one of our best years ever, and of course, the succeeding two years brought many challenges for our industry," said Thomas, who co-founded the company in 2003 with Winter and Cooke. "We'd done some great work, and we've always had a vision of the work we wanted to do, the kind of company we strive to be, and the continual push on that front got my thinking intensified about the significance of the players - we needed to be pursuing players that were genuinely unique, regardless of genre, so we pursued a course of action that would take us there. I also knew that with what was going on industry wide, this kind of environment historically breeds opportunity, in that great directors would be looking for the right fit. It might seem like we've taken on a lot at once, and clearly that's true, but I strongly believe in the directors that are here. This roster is as significant as we've ever had, and we're poised to make great strides."

NEW YORK, March 8, 2010 - "My directors were always relevant, now they're topical," said commercial production veteran Tom Mooney, referring to the latest project of Moon Media director Paul Fuentes, a popular promo for Matt LeBlanc's new show, "Episodes," slated to debut in May on SHOWTIME and BBC2. "Building a successful media boutique today is not just about executing work. It's about doing great work that spans TV, Web, theatrical, mobile, every medium - we're still creating amazing content, but now the box has changed. The popularity of a promo like Paul's just drives that point home."

Hans Moland's 'A Somewhat Gentle Man' Premieres at the Berlin International Film Festival

SANTA MONICA, CA, February 15, 2010 - "A Somewhat Gentle Man" ("En ganske snill mann"), the latest film from TWC Films director Hans Petter Moland (The Beautiful Country, Aberdeen, Gymnaslærer Pedersen), had its World Premiere today in the Berlin International Film Festival main competition (Berlinale).

Starring Stellan Skarsgård, Jannike Kruse Jåtog, and Jan Gunnar Røise, "A Somewhat Gentle Man" tells the story of Ulrik, who - after twelve years behind bars for murder - emerges from prison and finds himself in an emotional maelstrom of revenge, love, and longing.

Moland embarked on his feature film career in tandem with his commercial directing career, having earned a host of various commercial honors in numerous festivals and contests including Cannes, Eurobest, Clio, Epica, I.B.F. and Mobius, along the way. This latest feature film effort underscores the filmmaker's unique aptitude for provocative storytelling. Peter Cowie, international film historian, has called Moland "the Ridley Scott of Norway," which succinctly illustrates that he is an accomplished, talented master of both visual and narrative architecture.
