Eight VFX Teams with 'Zombieland' Director Ruben Fleischer on Sprint Theatrical Spot

"Zombieland" director Ruben Fleischer, the team at Eight VFX recreated a wild west shootout, a WWII battle scene, and, of course, a zombie attack. "2010 Cinema," for Sprint, via Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, is in theaters now, spreading the "don't text and talk during the movie" message.

In the spot, a woman finds herself interrupted by myriad movie scenes while talking on her phone - the idea is that movies don't interrupt our lives, so we should accord them the same respect.

"Ruben is such a pleasure to work with, he's very fast, knows precisely what he wants and he is excellent with comedy," says Eight VFX Supervisor Yann Mallard. "We spent some time researching iconic war scenes to recreate the feeling of an epic battle. Dialing in bombers, paratroopers, tanks, and explosions was a very exciting process."

One of the things I love about blog posts is that often they provoke an idea in my mind. When that happens, I feel like I must comment with the hope it will be useful to some people. Simply because there are various weblogs with many points of view, they encourage your comprehension. It's at these occasions when you have useful insignt other people might not have had, which include the blogger him/herself. I find myself coming back to to your web-site mainly because you have plenty of terrific insights and also you are actually at this a very long time, which is very exciting and tells me you know a lot. Keep sparking ideas in others!
