Joseph Grosso

Senior Flame Artist, Arsenal FX

Joseph Grosso comes to Arsenal FX with years of experience in post production, much of it spent under the tutelage of company owner/artist Mark Leiss. Grosso assisted Leiss at his previous roost, Jigsaw Editorial, from 2003-2008. During that time, he also had the opportunity to do some Flame work of his own, refining his skills and branching out as a freelance artist in his own right.

Grosso's credits include music video and commercial projects for Deadly Syndrome "Emily Paints" (directed by HSI's Don and Jon), The Submarines "Peace and Hate" (directed by Winch & Pulley's Josh Forbes), NFL Network "Bold Predictions - Eli" and "Bold Predictions - Dentist" (directed by Locksmith's Benjamin (Tapas) Blank, via Triple Double Agency), and "Polygarol" and "Eau De Polygamie" for HBO's Big Love (directed by the Goetz Brothers).

Now a Senior Flame Artist, Grosso recently completed effects work on McCann Erickson's visually stunning Cadillac "Gallery" (directed by Tate & Partners' Ago Panini), and GM "May The Best Car Win" campaigns, as well as multiple music videos for legendary directors Nigel Dick and Hype Williams.

"Arsenal FX is the perfect place for me to grow creatively, while working with great people," he says. "Having an impact artistically, and seeing the finished work up on the screen, is really gratifying and what I love most about this business."
